Signature Study 14
Crosswire
Space Buns™
The Interlocking Feed-Weave System™
Signature Study 14 takes braid architecture in a completely different direction. Crosswire Space Buns™ combines clean sectioning, puffed Dutch braids, six controlled feeder braids, an interlocking crosswire weave and balanced twisted space buns into one dimensional statement style.
The Study
Not Just Braids. Architecture.
This study is built around controlled movement. Three puffed Dutch braids begin the structure in the front. Those braids transition into six smaller feeder braids that cross, interlock and travel toward two anchored ponytails in the back. The remaining ponytail lengths are twisted and wrapped into balanced space buns, creating a style that looks intricate from every angle.
The goal is not simply to copy the finished hairstyle. The goal is to understand why every section, braid path, tension point and connection exists so you can control the final result.

Study Every Angle
The Style Changes As You Move Around It.
Front + Top
This angle exposes the three-braid foundation, clean top sectioning and dimensional puffed Dutch braid structure.
Side Profile
The side reveals how the braid structure travels backward and how the bun placement affects the silhouette.

Engineering The Style
The Interlocking Feed-Weave System™
01 — Foundation
Build a clean ear-to-ear division and balanced back sections before any braid construction begins.
02 — Braid Structure
Three puffed Dutch braids create the raised front architecture and provide the feeder braid foundation.
03 — Six Feeders
Each Dutch braid divides into two smaller braids, producing six controlled feeder braids.
04 — Crosswire
Interlace the six feeder braids while maintaining intentional spacing and balanced tension.
05 — Ponytail Foundation
Connect the feeder braids into the back ponytails and create the braid base that stabilizes the bun structure.
06 — Twist + Finish
Two-strand twist the remaining ponytail lengths, build the buns and complete the final Slay Check™.
The Finished Slay
Precision From Every Angle
Crosswire Space Buns™ is designed to reward clean technique. The stronger the sectioning, tension control and feeder placement, the cleaner the final architecture becomes. The result should feel intentional from the front, side, top and back—not like separate techniques sitting beside one another.
That is the difference between simply completing a hairstyle and engineering one.
